We have pledged to use nature-friendly methods, and to base our social benefits on sustainable foundations; for both ourselves and our customers…
In our quest to respect the right to life of all living things, we also place the utmost importance on the health and safety of our employees. We cannot re-create the world, but we sincerely believe we can make it a better place and improve quality of life with every step we take.
Green production for a greener future…
At Denim Team, we use low consumption production methods and nature friendly materials in our production areas. We use less energy, chemicals and water thanks to eco-friendly washing techniques.
In addition to our OCS certified green production trails, we also execute projects to improve our environment. Under the supervision and coordination of TEMA (Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, Reforestation and Protection of Natural Habitats, Turkey) we regularly plant trees.
Audits, Social Compliance, Certifications
BSCI
In Denim Team we strongly emphasize the idea that emplyoees’ well-being comes first. We know that without their invaluable work our company would be reduced to nothing but an empty building. Our company has been inspected for social responsibility in terms of use of child labor, discrimination, decent working hours, fair remunerations etc. Subsequently we have achieved BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) certificate.
SEDEX
Denim Team in order to create better workplace has been audited by SEDEX (Empowering Ethical Supply Chains) and certificated. Since we know that our employees are our best assets it is important for us to create a fair and happy environment for them…Our company knows corporate responsibilities to respect human rights and apply proper business ethics.
The Global Recycled Standard
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of Recycled Content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. The goal of the GRS is to increase use of Recycled materials in products and reduce/eliminate the harm caused by its production.
OCS
In a world where synthetic are surrounding us Denim Team offers organic products for consumers. Using organic cotton, organic thread and organic chemicals in the process of manufacturing denim garments Denim Team presents organic content for the customers. Our company has been inspected for OCS (Organic Content Standart) and achieved the organic standards.
GOTS
Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibres can become GOTS certified. All chemical inputs such as dyestuffs and auxiliaries used must meet certain environmental and toxicological criteria. The choice of accessories is limited in accordance with ecological aspects as well. A functional waste water treatment plant is mandatory for any wet-processing unit involved and all processors must comply with social criteria.
